Rood Kok (1995) has been fascinated by both the culture as the esthetics of constructions for a long time. That is why in his work the construction never serve’s the form. It’s the search for a perfect balance between construction and shape that lead to his images. At this moment he is looking for the autonomous visual qualities of bricks without stripping them of their pragmatic function. The results of this research can be seen within the walls of my concrete structure.
